With a new rural public transit system on the horizon for Cuming and Burt counties, Tyler Toline, CEO of Franciscan Healthcare, and Brian Pierce, Transportation Manager of the service shared more information about the soon-to-be-implemented program called “Joyride Public Transit.”
As previously reported, Franciscan Healthcare is the non-profit organization through which the transit service will be facilitated.
The last few months have seen Franciscan Healthcare and Cuming County Economic Development working with the counties and the communities in each county to acquire the funds necessary to meet the required 10% local match.
