Oakland City Council votes to keep protected bike lanes on Telegraph Avenue

The Oakland City Council voted Tuesday to install concrete barriers to protect bicyclists on a 10-block stretch of Telegraph Avenue near the city’s downtown, rejecting a staff recommendation to replace existing plastic barriers with painted buffers next year.
