Cost Allocation Meets Coordination: A Mini-Course for Human Services Transportation Providers

  • Format: Seminar
  • Year: 2020
What do cost allocation and coordination have to do with each other? This brief, online, 3-module course will help you understand why you need to go through the cost allocation process, and how it can help you do a better job of managing your transportation program. You will learn how to: understand and use easy-to-understand cost allocation models; figure out your true operating costs; determine fares and contract rates; determine the difference between pricing, cost and value; and then communicate this to others! Participants will leave with a better sense of how your fully allocated costs can be an important tool for your coordination efforts.
