A lifeline in the driver’s seat Volunteers bridge healthcare gap for seniors in Taos County
- Date: 02/11/2026
When Chad Riden gives seniors in Taos County a ride, it might mean a two-hour drive to a cancer center…
The city of Taylor and the Capital Area Rural Transportation System are starting a new on-demand service in the city on Thursday.
Rides may be requested using an app called CARTS Now or by calling the CARTS ride line at 512-505-5666, according to a CARTS news release. The rides are being offered for free for a limited time. The length of time they will be free has not been determined.
