What's New With CCAM-TAC?

Rural Health Transformation Toolkit

CCAM-TAC has launched a brand new toolkit! This toolkit is designed to help transit providers play a role in fixing the current rural health paradox. This toolkit provides information on the new CMS Rural Health Transformation Program and how transit providers in different states can help bridge the gap in rural health.

Walk a Mile In My Shoes

While many of us take the ability to easily get from Point A to Point B for granted, for others, it is not that simple. Walk a Mile in My Shoes is a collection of six vignettes that uncover the real-life stories of individuals navigating the complexities of mobility issues and transportation barriers. Each vignette highlights how coordination plays a key role in overcomming those hurdles.

NEMT Survey

CCAM-TAC understands how vital transportation is to human dignity and access to healthcare. For millions of older adults, individuals with disabilities, and low-income community members, NEMT is not just a service—it is a life-sustaining link to dialysis, preventative care, and medical treatments.

We know that operating in this space comes with unique and persistent hurdles. From navigation across rigid regulatory frameworks to the logistics of balancing rural versus urban routes, providing reliable medical transportation requires immense coordination. Whether you are a current NEMT provider or a former provider who has navigated these challenges in the past, your firsthand perspective is invaluable. We ask you to take a few minutes to complete this short survey
