Bill Wagner, CCAM-TAC Executive Director

Bill Wagner originally joined CTAA as the Deputy Director of the National Center for Mobility Management (NCMM). Deeply involved in the Coordinating Council on Access and Mobility Technical Assistance Center (CCAM-TAC) since its initial proposal, Bill was selected to lead the program from its inception. He brings a wealth of knowledge from his previous role as Director of a Regional Mobility Management Program under the Rural Health Network of South Central New York. Throughout his career, Bill has been actively involved in human services coordinated planning across multiple counties, focusing on age-friendly transit, disability accommodations, employment commuting, and rural healthcare access.

Having grown up in a rural area, Bill understands firsthand how transportation barriers impact individual health and community vitality. This personal background, paired with years of human services experience, drives his alignment with the CCAM mission to promote customer-centered mobility strategies. He is excited to leverage his experience to support communities nationwide through CCAM-TAC.

Originally from rural upstate New York’s Southern Tier, Bill now resides in Northern Virginia. Outside of work, he enjoys hiking, kayaking, and riding motorcycles. He has two daughters: one in Rochester, NY and the other in Boston, Mass.
